  • Excel - Level 1

    - This session will introduce Excel and its power and potential. Formatting and data manipulation will be explored. Formulas will be used to combine and summarize data. Pre-Requisite: Basic typing and comfort working with a Windows PC.
  • Excel - Level 2

    6:30 pm - 9:15 pm
    - A continuation of Level 1. Continue to sort, filter, summarize data and insert notes and comments. Functions will be explored. All the different view forms will be reviewed. Pre-Requisite: Microsoft Excel Level 1 or equivalent.
  • Excel - Level 3

    6:30 pm - 9:15 pm
    - Level 3 will continue to explore data manipulation. Groups, subgroups, charts and multiple sheets will be used to present data. Speciality functions will be used to aid in data entry and presentation. Pre-Requisite: Microsoft Excel Level 1 and 2 or equivalent knowledge and experience using a spreadsheet program.
  • Excel - Level 4
    Oct 28, 2020
    6:30 pm - 9:15 pm
    - Lookup functions and Pivot tables will be explored. Inserting graphics and hyperlinks will be introduced. Data columns will be split and joined. This and all sessions will be adjusted to meet the needs of the students. Pre-Requisite: Microsoft Excel Level 1, 2 and 3 or equivalent knowledge and experience using a spreadsheet program.

Microsoft Excel for Windows PC focuses on developing skills for computer spreadsheet use. Learn valuable computer skills as you progress through each level from Beginner to Advanced. Take all 4 classes of the series and save!

Safety Procedures for In Person Classes – At St. Albert Further Education, the safety of our students, volunteers and staff is very important. We are following guidelines from the AHS. Masks are mandatory in classrooms.  All desks, door handles, light switches etc will be wiped down after each class and people will be sent home if they exhibit any Covid 19 symptoms.
