Beading is an important cultural craft in the Indigenous community that has a rich history and meaning. In this course you will learn the importance of colour and pattern and understand the materials and how to collect and purchase them. As well as learning how to bead, the history and importance of community in the Indigenous culture will be shared.  In this second level class, you will continue learning the beading technique and make a more advanced item.

Materials will need to be purchased at the first class from Maureen for an extra, low charge (approx. $10)

Safety Procedures for In Person Classes – At St. Albert Further Education, the safety of our students, volunteers and staff is very important. We are following guidelines from the AHS. Masks are mandatory in classrooms.  All desks, door handles, light switches etc will be wiped down after each class and people will be sent home if they exhibit any Covid 19 symptoms.   Please call 780-460-2207 if you have any questions.
