You will enjoy conversation and practice in a friendly and encouraging class. Students will use the alphabet to put sounds together to build a vocabulary to engage in greetings and small talk. The basics of telling time, viewing the calendar, seasons, weather, clothing, family, home, food and daily routines will be used to introduce very simple grammar, sentence structure and proper tenses. Practice in real-life speaking situations will be done in a safe, supportive environment.

Focusing on grammar, verb tenses, vocabulary and pronunciation, topics will include how to prepare for winter, Canadian holidays & celebrations, Canadian cultural etiquette, what to do in a car accident and parent/teacher interviews.
